Modular Exhibition stands: Are they a good option?

Share |
Modular Exhibition stands are a great option for companies who exhibit in several exhibitions one after the other. They can do without ordering and paying for many booths and pavilions for each and every trade show that they participate. Modular stands have different stands and panels that can be assembled according to the space available at each exhibition. These stands are also set to withstand the travel wear and tear. They are cost friendly and will allow you to adapt accordingly to the nature of each show. The main point here is the lack of a hefty investment. But before going ahead and getting some modular stands for your company there are some things to take into consideration.

1. It is true that the modular stands offer a great deal of flexibility but one thing to be noted is to keep the stand manuals and instruction booklets close by. This because, there is the possibility of confusion if the parts of the stands are separated and the staff is confused as to where each and every part goes. There will also be sets of frames and panels which when separated can lead to utter chaos. This is why the instruction manual is really important, it can tell you exactly where each part goes and how to return to your original model. Though it will be useful to keep in mind that these stands require large amounts of space for storage and also lot of labour to set up. Although it is very easy to change and modify it is very difficult to install.

2. It is important to have panels and displays exactly matched to the modular stands that you have bought. Being highly flexible and customizable it is vital that you purchased the right sized banners and panels for setting up the display. This is where you realize the importance of the instruction manual those is given with the stand. The manual will tell you the specifications of every part of the stand so that you can buy the panels and display materials according to the ideal dimensions. If the size of your stand is large you may need several pieces of panels for the display and vice versa. This may sound complicated and tedious but when compared to the flexibility that these stands offer it is a small price to pay. Especially for a company which participates in a large number of trade shows.

3. If your company puts up the same display for each and every trade show that it participates it creates a negative impression about the company. Especially if the client base for the trade shows are the same. So to avoid this you can mix and match the structure and the display panels. This will make a different looking booth for every trade show that you attend. This is very cost effective if you compare with the expense of creating new stands for each every trade show that you attend.

4. Modular stands require great deal of attention and care. They cannot be used in a very careless manner if you wan to use it again. These are not fit for outdoor use so it is necessary to keep them away from extreme temperatures. They have to be stored in cool dry places which will protect them from rust and mildew. There are stands which are partially made of steel which will tarnish or have a slight discoloration if used for a long time.
